Welcome to the Suburban Philadelphia PIAA Soccer Officials Chapter website.

The chapter provides in season training; rules and interpretations; situation discussions and gives the schools we service an avenue to pursue questions; corrections; misinterpretations.

  • August 4th - Sunday - Chapter meeting - 9:00 PM

  • September 16 - Monday- 7:00 PM

  • September 30 - Monday- 7:00 PM

  • October 9 - Wednesday - 7:00 PM

It has been brought to our attention that accepting "event" invitations in Arbiter, like our chapter meetings, may show you to be unavailable for a game occurring at the same time. So, the advice of our Arbiter "super user" is Events are optional (except for the rules meeting).  An official should not be blocked if they decline an event.  However, if they accept, they will be shown as unavailable.  The best thing for an official who wishes to avoid being unavailable is to neither accept nor decline the invitation to the event.  The reason we put these in Arbiter was to ensure that everyone was informed of our meetings as thoroughly as possible. 

Make a Difference - Become an Official - There are many benefits to becoming an official for interscholastic athletics. You are making a difference in the lives of students everywhere, encouraging exercise through competition, and establishing life long fundamentals of fairness. The job is not for the faint of heart. It challenges you athletically, requires cool and decisive thinking, and means "sticking to your guns", but the rewards are great.
